If you click the permalink on the right you will see how the edit delete links are meant to look.
Slightly better than they do on this page that’s for sure.

editedit: well, kind of. It didn’t return me to the board — the cancel and X buttons didn’t work either. Had to change the URL.
right i am going to uninstall the edit comments bit so if you need to use this site if the bo goes down just lump it till i get back of my hols.
Unless i have an internet connection in south africa and then i might just might do something about it.

yup the code is almost there but ot quite — i have had it working almost 100% but need to work out why it doesnt
